QSP Fundraiserhttp://nlo.scdsb.on.ca/about-us/news/school-news/38QSP Fundraiser<p>​School Council has decided to try and consolidate our many small fundraisers into a few large ones this year. Our first big fundraiser has come home already, it was the package of QSP information you received from us. This campaign has many components to it, giving you a wide choice of items you may choose to order. A percentage of all funds raised comes back to the school to pay for many exciting intiatives such as technology, trips, special events, character education and parent engagement events.</p><p>Please consider supporting New Lowell by participating in our fundraisers this year!</p>

Please check our "School Council" page for a list of active members. If you'd like to be a part of our council, please come to our next meeting on December 5, 2016 at 6:30pm in our library. New members are always welcome!</p>

For families who require a paper copy still, one can be obtained by visiting our main office. We hope this change will be eagerly supported as it contributes to our EcoSchools and Green Team initiatives!</p>

Information sheets with descriptions of activities went home yesterday.  Please read it over with your child(ren) and return to homeroom teachers no later than Friday, June 3. If you are interested in volunteering to help out on June 9, please indicate that on your child's form. Volunteers must have a current Criminal Record Check.</p>
Safe Schools Online Reporting Toolhttp://nlo.scdsb.on.ca/about-us/news/school-news/30Safe Schools Online Reporting Tool<p>​<strong>Safe Schools Reporting Tool</strong><br> The SCDSB has developed a new online Safe Schools Reporting Tool, which is available on our website homepage, <a href="/"><span style="text-decoration:underline;">http://nlo.scdsb.on.ca</span></a>.</p><p>Students and parents can use this tool to submit a report online if they witness a student engaged in inappropriate behaviour such as bullying, drug use or vandalism.  Students are still encouraged to speak to a trusted adult at school or home if they have any concerns.
