Safe Schools Online Reporting Tool Schools Online Reporting Tool
Safe Schools Reporting Tool
The SCDSB has developed a new online Safe Schools Reporting Tool, which is available on our website homepage, .

Students and parents can use this tool to submit a report online if they witness a student engaged in inappropriate behaviour such as bullying, drug use or vandalism. Students are still encouraged to speak to a trusted adult at school or home if they have any concerns. This form isn't a substitute for having a discussion with your teacher or principal, but provides another avenue to start that conversation.

Student safety and well-being is always our top priority.

For more information please contact us or visit .

Are you ready to Run for FUN? you ready to Run for FUN?
Did you know that physical activity is just as important as nutritious food, for healthy body and mind? Students who participate in physical activity at the start of the day are better prepared to think and learn all through the school day. And, it's fun to be active, too!

It's easy to be active at New Lowell. Run for Fun is coming! Run for Fun is a 6 week program that will begin running at the end of April, and run three times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays). We will meet at 8:10, and finish up with a stretch around 8:40. Participants will be encouraged to set a personal goal to complete 42 kilometers - the equivalent of a marathon! - by the end of the 6 weeks. We will also have 'detours' of fun, physical activities to complete along the way. What a great way to start the day!

All students from grade 1 to 8 are encouraged to participate, and to bring family members along. Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, this is a great opportunity to get fit and have fun, as a family. Kindergarten students are also welcome to join with a family member, too. Please watch for more information to come home soon!

WE NEED YOU!

Parent volunteers are needed to help make our Run for Fun a success! We need adults to help count laps, track distances, and just run with the kids. Please contact Ms. Czerny, at the school, or at, if you are interested in helping.
